Famous faces from Leonardo DiCaprio to Michael Jackson and Donald Trump have been named in sensational court documents identifying associates of paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Cate Blanchett, Professor Stephen Hawking and Bill Clinton are also among the celebrities listed in newly-released filings after an order for the documents to be made public was handed down by New York judge Loretta Preska in relation to the 2015 defamation case brought by Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell.

More than 100 names are included in the new files, which will include emails, legal documents, depositions and more – though there is no suggestion many of those named are accused of any wrongdoing.

They have also put the spotlight back on Prince Andrew’s relationship with Epstein, who was found dead in his New York jail cell in August 2019 aged 66 from an apparent suicide while he was awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.

The papers include a previous testimony by jailed Ghislaine Maxwell, 62, who was sentenced for 20 years in June 2022 after she was found guilty of child sex trafficking and other offences in connection with Epstein.

Among the allegations in the documents is that Prince Andrew, 63, took part in an “underage orgy”.

A woman named only as Jane Doe, who is thought to be Andrew’s previous accuser Virginia Giuffre, says she was allegedly forced by Epstein to have “sexual relations with this Prince” and to give the royal “whatever he demanded”.

Giuffre, 40, has said she was forced to have sex with Andrew in three separate locations, including in an orgy on Epstein’s island, though the prince has vehemently denied her past allegations.

The newly released papers come to more than 900 pages, and none of the celebrities in the documents are accused of any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.

Another “mystery prince” is mentioned in the papers, but not named in the filing.
