Reality TV star and entrepreneur Inno Morolong is on a mission to rebrand and put her legal troubles behind her. This year, she started on a fresh note putting her trust in God and prioritising her faith.
Her revelation came before she was handed a 12-month house arrest sentence after the Randburg Magistrate's Court found Morolong guilty of crimen injuria.
The Randburg Magistrate’s Court imposed strict conditions, including community service, and rehabilitation, and placed a prohibition on alcohol and drug use for the duration of her 12-month sentence.
The sentence includes a suspended 12-month sentence for five years, provided Morolong does not commit crimen injuria again during this period.
Morolong is now focusing on the positive aspects of her life and what matters most, such as raising her 11-year-old daughter alone.
“Being a single mom is the hardest and most beautiful thing I’ve ever done,” Morolong said, her voice filled with emotion.
“There are days when I feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders, but then I see my daughter’s smile, hear her laugh, and it reminds me that I’m doing something truly meaningful. Every tear, every sleepless night, every sacrifice—it’s all for her.”
Her daughter this year has embarked on a new journey, starting a new school for Grade 5. Morolong couldn’t be prouder of the person her daughter is becoming.
“Watching her walk confidently into this new chapter has been such a profound moment for me,” she shared. “It’s a reminder that no matter how tough things get, the love we pour into our children comes back tenfold in the form of their happiness and success.”
Morolong, known for her huge following with her glamorous lifestyle and larger-than-life personality, is using her platform to shine a light on the strength and resilience of single mothers everywhere.
“There were times when I doubted myself, but being a mom teaches you strength you didn’t know you had. You learn to push forward, even when it feels impossible because someone else’s world depends on you.”
