Multi-award-winning musician Anatii has kicked off his latest artistic chapter with the release of “Boom SZN”.

Released under Larry Jackson and Ike Youssef’s gamma., the highly-anticipated 14-track album features rap icon Busta Rhymes, along with emerging artists such as Baby S.O.N, Yumbs and AL XAPO among others.

According to a statement: “Boom SZN” is much more than just a collection of songs, it's a celebration of life itself, blending the vibrant rhythms of amapiano with the raw energy of hip-hop and the smooth nuances of soulful R&B.

“It is all tied together by the unmistakable Bushman Sound. It’s more than an album; it’s a statement, an invitation to step into Anatii’s world where everything is booming -from beats and vibes to aspirations and triumphs,” it read.

Speaking on the album, Anatii shared: “‘Boom SZN’ is about ushering in a new chapter with explosive energy.

“It’s aspirational, it’s joyful and it’s deeply personal. I wanted it to resonate not just with South Africans but with people all over the world.”

Highlighting the album’s central themes of unity and celebration, the lead single, “Sey’ hlangene,”, featuring Yumbs and AL XAPO, has already captured hearts with its infectious beat and uplifting message.

“‘Sey’ hlangene’ is about everything coming together beautifully, both sonically and spiritually,” Anatii said.

Each track on the new album serves as a masterclass in sonic storytelling, as lyrics amplify the themes of resilience and community, celebrating love and togetherness in the face of adversity.

The extensive tracklist includes hits like “Ghost Guitar”, “Montana Way” and the atmospheric “Bushman Chant”, ensuring a diverse listening experience that speaks to a broad audience.

This album also cements Anatii’s partnership with gamma., a collaboration that highlights his mission to take the Bushman Sound global.
