What would you do if you separate from your life partner for 14 years? Move on? Well, that was not the case for Mapule Matlou and Tshepo Mohlala both 41 years old from Mahikeng.
The couple separated back in 2004, when Tshepo found himself a job in Limpopo, which he took, and left Mapule in Mahikeng. During that time, their marriage suffered a lot from extramarital affairs and they just couldn't handle the distance, says Mapule.
"For myself and Mapule to separate is because we were very young and were growing in our careers," said Tshepo.
To make matters worse, Tshepo then travelled the world and totally disappeared. He only returned home on 23 January this year.
"I used to beg him to come back home, so we could raise our children together. He refused all this time but I never lost hope," commented Mapule in tears.
Their love story was documented in Sunday night's episode of "Our Perfect Wedding."
For their second time, the duo opted to do things a little differently. Firstly Mapule didn't wear a white dress but opted for a royal blue one, symbolising her spiritual beliefs that tie in with their first marriage.

Secondly, everything was done at the groom's place because, well, she still is their makoti (daughter-in-law) right?
However, the star of the episode was the decor lady Levy 'Aunty' Mogapi. Girl just knew her business and took over from the minute the bridal party came for the final viewing.
Their chosen colours were sunflower yellow (which matched with the bridesmaids' dresses) and royal blue.

They only catered for 70 people and that got Kayise worried as to how will she respond to an excess number of people seeing that it is in the township.
"People know that Aunty is coming to cater at a certain function and there is always discipline. So as we speak right now, they are disciplining themselves before I get there," said the confident event organiser.
But there was an overflow of people who seemed to over-power the wedding organiser. T here were multiple people standing around, really not what Aunty promised neh?
OK, back to our couple...
It wasn't only Mapule who was hopeful for Tshepo's return, her family supported her in prayer too.
Her mother, Catherine Matlou, was one of the believers.
"All that time, I prayed to God and I didn't lose my faith. I knew God would perform wonders," said the excited mother on the wedding day.

The groom wore a checkered blue and white jacket with his royal blue pants, while his groomsmen wore royal blue suits with yellow ties.
They tied the knot at their reception area where they exchanged their vows, rings and a special handshake and sealed it with a kiss.
They changed into their second traditional attire later in the day and danced right through the night.
