A love that was set up by the bride's brother has led Amanda Masote, 35 and Xolani Kubheka, 35, down the aisle on Sunday's episode of "Our Perfect Wedding".
The couple met back in 2008 when the brother, Lebogang Masote, invited Xolani to a family gathering but denies ever selling his sister, and is only guilty of bragging about how amazing Amanda is.
The following day, the couple went out for drinks and their newly found love sealed it with a kiss before parting ways.
"It was hard for me to believe that she agreed to date me. I just couldn't believe that I had managed to catch her," said Xolani.
The couple, who got engaged in 2014, shares two children, and have raised Amanda's son together as since he was four years old.
"I have been with him for 10 years now, and we have never split up. People split up and get back together, but that has never happened to us," said Amanda.
Day one of the wedding went down without a hitch. The bridesmaids wore peach strapless sweetheart neckline dresses that matched Amanda's white wedding gown. Xolani, on the other hand, matched with his groomsmen in blue suits and peach accessories.
Walking down the aisle Xolani was overwhelmed by her beauty.
"I'm used to seeing her every day, but she looked different," he said.
Their vows came straight from the heart, with Xolani promising her that his love for her will never change while Amanda promised to never sleep a night without him.
"I couldn't believe everything that was happening. I was happy and very excited," said Amanda.
Their reception area was dripped with gold, peach and white.
During the reception, Xolani shared a dance with his mother, while the bride did the money dance. Basically, guests pinned money onto her dress and got to dance with her before she shared a dance with her father.
Day two of their traditional wedding, the bride was welcomed into the Kubekha family in Jabulani, Soweto. Their decor was done in an isiSwati inspiration, a decision they made to honour and follow the custom and traditions of the Kubheka family.
Amanda and her family were late and when they arrived, found the gates closed. She was supposed to have entered the Kubekha gates before the sun rose and as per customs, a fine had to be paid to apologise for making the family wait. But after all that, the festivities continued.
The bride changed into an outfit specially made for her by her in-laws, after being given a goat as a gift as a sign that she will never go hungry.
The gift ceremony took place, food was served and singing was done in celebration of their union.
