Who said romance in the workplace is a terrible thing? Well, 27-year-old Ro Anne van Staaren and 28-year-old Sibusiso Zondi proved the stone age rule wrong as they joined their hands in holy matrimony.
The pair met at work, with Ro Anne eyeing Sibusiso, despite everyone labelling him as an unapproachable guy. The first time Sibusiso ever uttered any words to Ro Anne was telling her to remove the coat she had on because it was "hiding all that beauty".
"I was blushing," said Ro Anne. "I was also shocked because he hardly ever said anything to me".
The duo went on a weekend away on a team-building exercise, far from the city. While there, they found themselves hooked in deep conversation until the next morning. "I just wanted to keep her talking to me, that was my goal. Within that conversation I remember thinking 'she is mine now'," said Sibusiso in between giggles.
The couple were faced with a jealous ex from Sibusiso's side, who harassed the bride and threatened to stop the wedding. But Sibusiso found his match and proposed to Ro Anne at a certain venue. "I didn't even have to pause because I knew what I had to say," said Ro Anne.

— Our Perfect Wedding (@OPWMzansi) February 23, 2018 Their Disney themed wedding was staged on a Monday because, according to the bride, weddings are cheaper during the week.
The makoti (bride) loosened her grip in certain areas of the decision making and allowed the boys to make their own choices.
The groomsmen wore navy blue jackets and grey pants.

And because of the collective force they had become in deciding, two days before the wedding the men had still not decided on the colour of shoes they would wear. Blue or black. And there was no panic whatsoever.
The bridesmaids wore champagne dresses with a slit on the side.

Their three tier cake was chocolate flavoured, with blue and silver trimmings. The couple were surprised by the subtle hint of coffee in the cake's flavour.
A day before the wedding, the couple couldn't see the final look at their venue decorations as the lady responsible was not available.
Also, the preacher was not around to be seen just before he officiates the ceremony. The couple only had faith that all loose ends will be tied up on their big day. And they were.
The morning of the wedding was greeted by rain from mother nature, but that didn't damper their mood.
Ro Anne wore a Cinderella gown with glitter, paired with a crown and veil. Because of the couple being the same height, makoti felt it would be decent to wear glittery gold and white sneakers, as she thought she would tower over hubby when in heels.
The groom wore navy blue Disney inspired suit, with gold embroidery. He paired that with black pants and black shoes. Think Beauty and the Beast.
The groomsmen went with black shoes, apart from the one who was adamant of wearing his brown shoes.
Ro Anne insists she's definitely NOT leaning in for a kiss, LOL! It's a pair of sneakers for her. https://t.co/fUvCPGlqJF #OurPerfectWedding pic.twitter.com/VlIQWj3OaZ
— Our Perfect Wedding (@OPWMzansi) February 25, 2018 Emotions ran high for the mother of the bride as she said the day symbolised the good job she has done with her daughter.
Another surprise on the day is the change of a make up artists as her initial artist cancelled days before.
The bride was walked down the aisle by her father, and said she was overwhelmed by being handed over by one amazing man to another. When Sibusiso saw his wife he thought, "oh my word, this woman is about to be my wife."

After saying their vows, the couple set off to their reception area, decorated just how they anticipated.
The room was draped in white, with gold chairs and turquoise blue table napkins in the middle of the round tables. And the main table was surrounded by fresh flowers all around, with touches of turquoise and white.
"When I walked in, I was said 'wow'. It was probably better than what I had envisioned. The fresh flowers were amazing... she paid attention to detail and made it special for us," said the new Mrs Zondi, with hubby nodding in agreement.
From then on, well wishes came from their loved ones, food was served and dancing was witnessed. The couple also shared their first dance together, and they looked very in love.
After all was complete, the couple declared the day as their perfect wedding.
