legendary Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has just launched a new YouTube channel called “UR Cristiano”.

The channel has already made headlines by reaching one million subscribers in just 90 minutes, setting a new record for the fastest time to hit that milestone.

The channel went live on August 21, and within the first 24 hours, it gained over 20 million subscribers and counting. It has around 50.8 million subscribers, showing Ronaldo’s massive popularity.

“UR Cristiano” features short videos, most just under five minutes. The content includes clips about Ronaldo’s football career, family life, health tips, and sports.

Ronaldo expressed his excitement about the channel in one of his videos, saying, “This is a chance for fans to connect with me on a more personal level. I want my fans to feel like they are ‘Christiano’ themselves”.

The first video featured Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodríguez. She was confident that the channel would be a hit and that fans would enjoy seeing a more personal side of Ronaldo.

YouTube awarded Ronaldo a Golden Play Button, which is given to creators who reach one million subscribers, recognising his quick success.

Ronaldo’s YouTube achievement adds to his already impressive career, which includes setting records in football and having the most followers on Instagram. His new channel is another way for him to connect with his fans and share more of his life.
