South African designers do more than just fashion, they also host exhibitions and curate art.

Celebrated ready-to-wear menswear designer Wanda Lephoto is unleashing his creativity by launching “The Process”, a fake magazine to create a unique styling experience.

In partnership with their head stylist and artistic director Oratile Moh, the Wanda Lephoto team will host the second instalment of adidas Original Studios with Shelflife.

“As part of our workshop we will present our Fake Magazine ‘The Process’ with the focus on sharing our creative journey, the many layers required to develop a product, run a business and still be rooted in an honest, often vulnerable ideals on complex African identities that we explore through our stories,” said Lephoto.

“A work in progress brand, business and team, we are here to share our stories, not rooted in perfection but rather ‘The Process’.”

In other news, the fashion designer, also exhibiting “The Response” at Museum Africa recently showcased a stunning collection at Confections x Collections in Cape Town.

“Honoured to have closed off the show at Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel with a week of inspiring collections and conversations with our dear friends and family, being amongst other designers whose works continue to inspire and inform the dynamic multiple contexts in which we also exist,” he said.
