Jaguar will be unleashing its fastest saloon car ever onto South African roads next month and fans will get a chance to meet it at the Joburg Motor Show this week.
This feline gets its energy from the most powerful version of Jaguar's supercharged 5-litre V8, which pushes 405kW and 680Nm. It'll purr from 0-100km/h in only 4.6 seconds and top out at an electronically limited 300km/h.
Aerodynamics have been honed by a carbon fibre rear wing that reduces lift by 68 percent, while additional corner clawing power is ensured by its 20-inch wheels and modified suspension.
Jaguar describes the XFR-S as "a synthesis of speed, style, and stamina" and we're looking forward to testing that theory on the road.
