Redhill’s average score surpasses global benchmarks

THE Redhill School Class of 2024 prevailed yet again. Redhill is currently the only school in South Africa offering students the option to graduate with either an Independent Examination Board (IEB) or International Baccalaureate (IB) qualification. The school said it takes pride in empowering students to excel in academics, sports, culture, leadership, and community service. The Class of 2024, a tight-knit group, stood strong and firm in these values.

IEB Results

100% university entrance (Bachelor’s Degree Pass).

An average of 3.5 distinctions per student, totalling 309 distinctions.

Standout performances:

1 student with a 90%+ average.

40 students with an 80%+ average.

33 students with a 70%+ average.

15 students with a 60%+ average.

Distinction breakdown:

10% achieved 7+ distinctions.

45% achieved an A average.

83% achieved a B average or above.

96% earned one or more distinctions.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Results

An impressive average score of 34.19 out of 45, surpassing the global average by 4.99 points.
