After a three-year hiatus, South African export rapper and producer, Frank Casino, has returned to the music scene with a bang.

The musician, whose real name is Nhlanhla Tshabalala, excited his fans when he released his latest single, “Long Life” on Friday, July 26.

The track offers a reflective perspective on Casino’s life experiences. He sings about embarking on a new journey while blowing kisses to his former life.

The single features a mellow, atmospheric sound that seamlessly blends elements of soul, jazz, R&B and pop.

Singer Thando Zide’s distinctive voice features on the bridge while pH Raw X sings the chorus.

“Long Life” serves as the renowned artist's first official single since he released “Forever”, which featured late hip hop icon, Riky Rick, in 2021.

Casino's exhilarating return has delighted fans who took to Instagram to support his return.

This included @khohlwa_abantu, who wrote: “We’ve been waiting Franky 😢😭”.

Another fan, @mpex4real commented: “Somebody tell Frank we need a album 😭🔥.”

Although the artist has been in the game for a while, collaborating with global brands on various pop culture campaigns, he gained significant recognition through his guest appearance on the chart-topping hit “Mayo” by DJ Speedsta, which also featured Shane Eagle, Yung Swiss and Tellaman.

Casino followed up this triumph with the release of his breakthrough track, “Whole Thing”, which Rick later remixed.

In 2018, he continued to dominate the music scene with “Come Alive” and “Sudden” which featured industry giants Cassper Nyovest and Major League DJz. Both song formed part of his EP, “Heroes of Tomorrow”.

Now that he's back and ready to wow fans once more, his new song is a strong statement of fortitude and resolve that highlights his undying dedication to achievement and confidence.
