United unlikely to add to City’s Shield woes

This afternoon, Manchester City and Manchester United will raise the curtain on the 2024/25 season at Wembley Stadium, which will host the 2024 FA Community Shield final. City have played in the last three finals and lost all three, to Leicester City (2021), Liverpool (2022) and Arsenal last season. Today, however, City look set to end that run of defeats with a Manchester derby victory.
