The Media Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) invites nominations for the MICT SETA Board for the term: 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2030.
This call for nominations of MICT SETA Accounting Authority Members is in line with section 11(4) of the Skills Development Act (No 97 of 1998), hereinafter referred as the “Act”.
Constituencies should use the following criteria as guidelines when nominating their representatives:

Stakeholders are hereby notified that the necessary background checks and verifications will only be finalised at a later date with the suitable candidates identified for appointment. Only the following documents must be submitted with nominations by 29 November 2024:
Re-Appointment of Members
Regulation 9(b) of the SETA Standard Constitution Regulations published in the Government Gazette 35336 of 11 May 2012 provides that: “a member is eligible for re-appointment upon expiry of the term of office but the re-appointed members may not exceed one third of the members of the Accounting Authority in any one term”. The current Members of the Accounting Authority who are eligible for re-appointment should also be nominated by their respective Constituencies.
