Mpumelelo Mseleku, the son of renowned businessman and polygamist Musa Mseleku, shocked many viewers when he paid lobola for his second girlfriend, 21-year-old Amahle Casela, before his first girlfriend, Tirelo Kale.

On the latest episode of “Izingane Zes’thembu”, which aired on Sunday, July 13, Mseleku visited the Casela family with his uncles to pay lobola (bride price), leaving Kale in the dark.

Following in his polygamist father’s footsteps, Mseleku has also started his journey by paying lobola for his second girlfriend. This automatically makes her the first wife, despite Kale being in the picture first.

Kale was left feeling upset upon discovering that the second girlfriend would be getting married before her.

During the episode, Mseleku revealed that the reason Casela will become the first wife is that Kale’s parents did not allow the lobola negotiations to start.

Kale recently addressed her fans on Instagram Live, discussing her parents’ rejection of Mseleku’s lobola proposal.

The 25-year-old’s parents cited concerns about her incomplete qualification, unemployment, and the relationship issues she and Mseleku have as reasons for their decision.

In an interview with “Independent Media Lifestyle”, leading up to the airing of the reality TV show, Kale opened up about the cracks forming in her relationship with Mseleku.

The young mother candidly discussed her turbulent relationship with Mseleku, revealing that she was unaware of the cracks forming.

“I honestly didn’t see the cracks forming in our relationship,” she said. “It really seemed solid until it wasn’t. The betrayal … wow, I genuinely didn’t expect it,” she said.

Since the reality show aired, Mseleku and Kale’s relationship has been more rocky than rosy, marked by constant disagreements.

Mseleku’s growing focus on his new relationship with Casela has seemingly taken centre stage, leaving Kale feeling neglected and abandoned, further straining their already tumultuous partnership.
