Whether you love them or love to hate them, Harry and Meghan fans can rejoice because the royal duo are not leaving our screens anytime soon.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have officially extended their partnership with Netflix, signing a new "multi-year, first look deal".

This means Netflix gets the first peek at any new shows or films their Archewell production company comes up with.

This announcement definitely shuts down all the gossip about the couple and Netflix parting ways for good.

While we don't know exactly how many years this new deal will last or how much cash is involved, it's described as a "looser arrangement" compared to their original $100 million deal from 2020.

Some folks might see this as a "demotion," but insiders suggest it could actually be more lucrative than it appears.

One perk is that the streaming platform might even cover Archewell Productions' operating costs.

The couple is reportedly "absolutely over the moon" about the deal.

Meghan herself shared that this partnership inspires them to "create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision".

Netflix's chief content officer, Bela Bajaria, clearly agrees, calling Harry and Meghan "influential voices" whose stories connect with audiences everywhere.

She pointed to their hit documentary, Harry & Meghan, which got a massive 23.4 million views after it launched in December 2022.

The second series of Meghan's cookery show, With Love, Meghan, is due out later this month.

The first series, while drawing in 5.3 million viewers, received mixed reviews from critics and failed to crack Netflix's top 300 in early 2025.

Even so, there is a special Christmas edition of the show coming.

Clearly, Netflix still sees Harry and Meghan as a "power couple" who bring in plenty of attention and remain worth investing in.
