As the year draws to a close, South African personality Sinqobile Tusani reflected on her journey while looking ahead to bold new horizons.
Tusani recently spent time experiencing the heart of Champagne and the rich heritage of the Maison, as a Moët & Chandon, in Paris.
“Paris was nothing short of amazing. I love it there. Saran, on the other hand? Breathtaking,” gushed Tusani.
“The most exciting part of my trip was exploring a different side of France, Champagne (Épernay), and getting a taste of how the French celebrate Christmas.
“I had the most wholesome and deep conversation with Moët & Chandon’s Expert in Experiences and Communications Manager, Marie-Christine Osselin. She was seated next to me at dinner, and that interaction left the warmest feeling in my heart.”
Tusani has had a year worth clinking glasses over, literally. The digital content creator and former retail makeup artist has had a lot of moments worth celebrating and popping a champagne over.
“2025 was such a career-focused year for me, with so many firsts to celebrate, along with my kids’ milestones,” she says. “But most importantly, I popped champagne to celebrate good health, my loved ones’ achievements, and forming new relationships globally.”
While her career continues to soar, December remains sacred. Christmas is a holiday her family takes “very seriously,” and Tusani plans on spending it the way she always has surrounded by the people who matter most.
“My mom taught my sisters and I to reflect and practice gratitude during Christmas,” she says. “It’s a tradition I’ve passed on to my kids, making sure we’re all together on Christmas Eve.”
Before Tusani was captivating audiences online, she was helping women shine from behind the retail makeup counter. That chapter, she says, laid the foundation for everything she does today.
“It’s been absolutely fulfilling for me,” she reflects.
“At one point, I was doing both at the same time, which left little room for exploration on the digital side. But now that my full attention is on digital content creation, I’ve seen results that make me really proud of myself.”
Social media may expose creators to audiences of all ages and backgrounds, but Tusani navigates this ever-expanding digital landscape with confidence and purpose.
“It has opened me up to so many people from different backgrounds and walks of life, which helps me remain grounded,” she says.
Authenticity, she adds, is rooted in knowing her worth. “There’s only one Sinqobile Tusani who offers what I offer, and that alone is a blessing.
“Balance comes from knowing where I come from and where I’m headed, so nothing external can disrupt that sense of purpose.”
