1. Musa Mseleku’s remarks on “Uthando ne’Sthembu: Uncut” leaves viewers stunned

A trailer of the upcoming episode of “Uthando ne’Sthembu: Uncut” has been released and in the clip, Musa Mseleku’s third wife, Thobile “MaKhumalo” Mseleku is being seen taking a tour of her new house.

However, what can also be seen is the strained relationship between Mseleku and MaKhumalo. A confessional of Mseleku is also shared where he implies that his third wife is where she is today because he opened doors for her.

These remarks sent fans into a frenzy as many expressed that he is making it sound like he is the reason behind her success.

2. Loyiso Bala reflects on his bond with Pearl Thusi

South African singer, Loyiso Bala shared a heartfelt Instagram post, reflecting on his friendship with media personality Pearl Thusi.

Bala posted a heartfelt message on Instagram as well as their picture together, as he reminisced about the evolution of their friendship.

“Close to 20 years of friendship, long before any of the noise or the fame. Now here we are, uncles and aunts to all these beautiful children, doing life together,” Bala captioned the post.

3. Inno Morolong launches a Back-to-School drive

The 2026 academic year is about to start and reality TV star and influencer, Inno Morolong has launched a Back-to-School drive aimed to support underprivileged learners.

Morolong explained that the initiative is aimed at children who are starting the school year without basic learning tools, including learners from child-headed households. 

“Many learners start the school year without the basic tools they need to succeed. This drive is about restoring dignity, confidence and hope, one school kit at a time,” she shared.

Inno Morolong has lanuched a Back-to-School initiative as schools are about to re-open.

4. Nandi Madida pays tribute to her father’s legacy

South African media personality, Nandi Madida posted a heartfelt tribute to her father, Dr. Thami Mngoma, upon his retirement in 2025, honouring his decades of service in the medical field.

“Yesterday, my father retired as a medical doctor. And I don’t think the weight of that moment will ever fully land. He became a doctor during apartheid, when the odds were deliberately stacked against him and all Black South Africans,” she wrote.

She shared that her father is her hero and throughout his career, he was also the best father he could be.

Nandi Madida honoured her father, Dr Thami Mngoma for his dedication and hard work throughout his career as a medical doctor.

5. Makhadzi reveals she won’t be performing for 10 weeks after car crash

Following a car accident on New Year’s Eve, Limpopo musician Makhadzi took to social media to give her concerned fans a health update.

In the update, she revealed that she has now been discharged from the hospital but she also said that she was told by her doctor that she won’t be able to perform for 10 weeks.

“From my treatment, I have been receiving from my doctor, she advised that from all the injuries, I will have to remain at home care for 10 weeks without performing,” she said.

Makhadzi took to social media and revealed to fans that she was advised to stay at home for 10 weeks.

6. Jill Scott makes musical comeback with an album after a 10-year hiatus

After 10 long years, American singer Jill Scott announced that she is returning to the music scene and her comeback also includes an album.

She announced the exciting news on Instagram and also shared that the album is titled “To Whom This May Concern,” which is set to be released on February 13.

Scott also released the first single from the album titled “Beautiful People” giving fans a glimpse of what to expect from the full project.

7. Siya Kolisi enjoys Victoria Falls retreat

Siya Kolisi is already setting the vibes for 2026 with a retreat at Victoria Falls. Taking to Instagram, he shared the content of his trip, giving fans a glimpse into his getaway.

Kolisi was photographed enjoying a sunset cruise on the vast Zambezi River. 

Furthermore, he posted a video showing him cooling off in the spray of the thundering Mosi-oa-Tunya during a day trip to the iconic waterfall.

8. Tyla’s Bantu Knots hairstyle leaves the internet divided 

Multi award-winning star, Tyla caused quite a stir on social media after debuting her new hairstyle: Bantu Knots.

Even though online research shows that Bantu Knots originate in Southern Africa, the singer was called a “copycat” for doing the same hairstyle as American singer Rihanna who did Bantu Knots 10 years ago.

However, her fans quickly came to her defense, saying that the hairstyle has been around way before Rihanna did and she has every right to do whatever hairstyle she wants since its her hair.

9. Anele Mdoda confirms marriage, reveals new name and surname

It seems like fans can finally stop questioning if media personality Anele Mdoda has tied the knot or not.

The radio host has confirmed her marriage, reintroducing herself on Instagram as Mthawelanga, a proud "makoti" (new bride). 

"My name is Mthawelanga, lovely to meet you," she captioned the post which included photos of her dressed in traditional Xhosa attire.

Anele Mdoda gave fans a glimpse into her life as a new bride and also shared her new name given by her in-laws.

10. Siya Kolisi joins Rachel John for her 25th birthday celebration

Springboks captain, Siya Kolisi joined his rumoured girlfriend, Rachel John who celebrated her 25th birthday the past weekend.

While she did not specifically post him, there were hints that were impossible to ignore after some digital digging was done.

Some noticeable hints that we came across include, his signature yellow wristwatch, his reflection on a window as well as the fact that both their posts include benches that feature a wood design and colour on the porch of the place that they held the celebration.
