The Soweto Derby at the weekend was a star-studded affair, with several of Mzansi's famous faces attending the sold-out clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema came out with his family to FNB Stadium, and they cheered on Orlando Pirates.
The Malemas were even caught on camera, and the two young boys showed their excitement and support for Orlando Pirates by crossing their arms into a cross.
Julius and his wife, Mantwa Matlala, were at the receiving end of gossip monger Musa Khawula’s rumour-spreading. Khawula alleged that the famous political couple is headed for splitsville.
The couple was all smiles at the match, and their pictures were even shared on the EFF’s social media pages.
“The EFF President and Commander in Chief, Julius Malema, together with his family at FNB Stadium, watching the Soweto Derby as proud Orlando Pirates supporters,” read the caption.
The comment section was filled with people admiring the beautiful family, and some weighed in on the rumours.
Kgomotso Malemela said: “Can we check Musa Khawula that he's okay.. that's my president and his family.. Bashabi”
Sechaba Shuping said, “Pain landed on someone’s Twitter page”.
