Liema Pantsi, when she returned to the “Big Brother Mzansi” house, had one mission: to get her hands on the grand prize, and she has done exactly that.
On Sunday’s grand finale, the 24-year-old musician was revealed to have received 33.84% of the vote, and housemate Thandeka 29.97%, making her the runner-up.
Liema has won the “Big Brother Mzansi” R2 million grand prize and over R3000 in cash prizes collected from the various weekly sponsorship challenges in the house.
Hailing all the way from the Eastern Cape, Qonce Liema was first introduced to Mzansi on season five of “Big Brother Mzansi”, where she left early after choosing to take money in a game, ending her time on the reality show.
Liema, once she left the “Big Brother Mzansi” house, pursued her music career, even released an album, and worked with top Mzansi artists such as DJ Zinhle, Cici and Mthunzi. She even won awards at the Basadi in Music Awards last year: Collaboration of the Year and SAMRO Songwriter of the Year.
In 2026, Liema returned to “Big Brother Mzansi” as an individual with a foundation in the entertainment industry, already working with top brands such as Honor and as an artist.
