Baker posted several photos of her newborn, whose face is blurred out, with the two of them wearing coordinating blue outfits.

Other pictures show her two children, Khalid and Salma, appearing to play with their new sibling.

The couple revealed in December 2025, that they were expecting their third child. Baker made the announcement after she shared a cute video on her Instagram, where she posed for a magazine cover featuring the phrase “third edition”.

Throughout her pregnancy, Baker has been sharing her journey with her fans online including when she had a gender reveal in January as well as her sunset themed baby shower.

In the last episode of her podcast, Baked The Podcast, she shared that the pregnancy was both planned and unplanned.

“It was definitely planned, unplanned. So, we were not planning per se but we were open to having more kids. I’ve always wanted four children, my husband wanted two,” she said.

She further explained that their pregnancy was not planned to happen now but in the near future and before they knew it, they were pregnant.

“Eventually we just decided ‘Let’s pull the trigger’. We’re kind of running out of time because our kids will be five and eight next year.

“It’s kind of now or never and he agreed so we are having a third one. It was not planned for this specific time, we just thought we’ll have to make the decision by the end of next year,” she explained.

The pair met 12 years ago in their early 20s after they were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend.

In 2016, they tied the knot at the Zeenatul Islam Mosque in District Six, surrounded by close friends and family.
