Hailey Bieber has openly discussed her thoughts on motherhood, specifically sharing some of the fears she holds as a mother.
Raising a child is certainly not easy, and doing so under the scrutiny of the public eye only intensifies the pressure, bringing with it a lot of unwanted opinions.
Speaking to “Interview Magazine” for their Spring Cover, the Rhode founder opened up the deep fears she has as she raises her son, Jack Blues, in this “cruel” world that she describes as “scary” and “bleak”.
When asked if she worries about the world her son will grow up in, the model didn’t hold back. “Every day,” she replied.
She admitted that she often finds herself thinking about how the current world events are, and that leaves her feeling even more worried about the future.
“That’s probably the most anxiety I have as a parent. The world he’s growing up in is very, very scary, and it feels so bleak, thinking about the future, with how things are going."

“But I just have to close my eyes and have faith. As long as he’s growing up in an environment at home that’s really loving and beautiful, that’s all that I can hope for,” she said.
We all know that the world can be unkind, and it is public knowledge that the Biebers have suffered intense scrutiny in the past for being in love with each other.
What the Rhode founder expressed is quite valid, and many would agree that she definitely has every right to feel that way.
I mean, for decades Bieber and her husband were always nitpicked for their public behaviours by fans, paparazzi and even other celebs.
Things even went as far as fans dragging her for marrying the “Baby” hitmaker, and they questioned the authenticity of their love.
During the interview, Bieber further clarified the ongoing and popular rumours that she calls the paparazzi on herself.
“Historically, we’ve seen that paparazzi are awful. I don’t think it’s gotten any better or any worse.
“The spirit behind it is very dark, and I don’t think it’s something that anybody asks for in this world, so I find it really funny when I see people online being like, 'She calls the paparazzi on herself every day.' It’s so icky,” she added.
