Mzansi's favourite child celebrity, Kairo Forbes, is officially taking the modelling world by storm.
The 10-year-old daughter of DJ Zinhle and late rapper AKA was just named "Mini Model of the Month" for February, proving she’s more than just a famous last name.
In a sweet Instagram clip, Kairo introduced herself to fans, sharing that while she loves singing and dancing, she’s also a fan of crocheting in her downtime.
"Hi, I'm Mini Model of the Month Kairo Forbes. My hobbies are dancing and singing. What I like to do in my free time is crochet. The quote that I live by is, 'You don’t have to be perfect to be amazing'. Thank you."
Earning the title isn't just about looks; Forbes had to be voted in by her peers for being helpful, responsible, punctual, kind and respectful.
Modelling agency, Ace Models, in Waterfall wrote: "Meet Kairo - Mini Model of the Month for February 🤍✨Known for her compassion, Kairo’s warmth and thoughtfulness leave a lasting impact on everyone she meets ..."
Of course, her biggest fans were cheering her on in the comments.

Last year, Forbes shared her ambitions with her two million followers on Instagram when she wrote: "In 2025, chase your dreams, no matter your age! I’m 9, and I’m already working toward one of my biggest dreams: becoming a top runway model!
"Every pose, every step, and every moment brings me closer to the dream I see in my heart."
She continued: "It doesn’t matter how young you are; if you can dream it, you can do it! Believe in yourself, work hard, and never stop shining your unique light."
