Wet and windy conditions are expected to lash areas across the country this week.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) said via its Twitter account that the week ahead (from November 14 to 16) would be “stormy”.
They said: “A steep upper air trough (or low pressure system) will result in wet, windy and cold weather over parts of SA this week with possible snow on the southern high ground.”

They said they would be sharing more updates on the developing system as the week progressed.
Meanwhile, at the weekend, parts of KwaZulu-Natal were affected by heavy rains.
At the time, SAWS said that severe thunderstorms that had been observed over parts of Ilembe, King Cetshwayo and uMmgungundlovu moving eastwards.
“(There is a risk) of heavy downpours and strong damaging winds.”
MEC for COGTA Nomusa Dube-Ncube warned in a statement on Friday that the Midlands and southern parts of the province could expect “ferocious storms”.
Disaster Management Centres had been placed on high alert.
