The fourth and final suspect linked to the killing of 22-year-old Bolt driver Isaac Satlat has handed himself over to police in Atteridgeville, Pretoria

The man surrendered on Monday and is expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.

Earlier the same day, three co-accused — Dikeledi Tears Phela, Gositsiane Machidi and McClaren Mushwana — briefly appeared in court. The trio opted to abandon their bail applications and will remain in custody. The case was postponed to 23 February to allow for further investigations.

Gauteng police spokesperson Mavela Masondo confirmed that all four suspects are facing charges of premeditated murder, aggravated robbery and hijacking.

The charges stem from an incident on which occurred on February 11, 2026, when Satlat was allegedly attacked after responding to a ride request in Pretoria West. His vehicle and body were later discovered in Atteridgeville. Footage of the killing, which circulated widely on social media, triggered widespread public outrage.

Police investigations are continuing.
