Emergency helicopter rushed in as Chatsworth gunman leaves victim fighting for life.

A man had to be airlifted to the hospital following a shooting incident in Chatsworth, south of Durban, on Friday.
However, he died in the hospital according to ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson.
"Unfortunately, the gentleman passed away due to his injuries sustained," he said.
Jamieson said the alleged hijacking took place in the Bayview area.
The man, who is believed to be in his early 40s was reportedly shot several times.

Jamieson said at the scene, the man had sustained critical injuries, and a medical helicopter was activated to airlift the patient to the hospital.
"Due to the severity of the man's injuries a decision was made to call in the Netcare911 Aeromedical Helicopter for the rapid transportation to a level 1 hospital for the urgent care that the patient required."
Details surrounding the shooting are not known.
