South Africa is bracing for severe thunderstorms, hail, and potential flooding as the South African Weather Service issues a Yellow Level 4 warning for Monday, particularly affecting KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga.

The South African Weather Service has issued a Yellow Level 4 warning for severe thunderstorms, hail and possible flooding in parts of the country on Monday.
According to SAWS, the northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal and the escarpment areas in Mpumalanga will experience heavy downpours, lightning, hail, and damaging winds that may result in flooding of susceptible settlements.
The forecaster has also issued a Yellow Level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms in the North West, except for the extreme west, western parts of the Free State, Gauteng, Mpumalanga Highveld, except the extreme north-west, and the southern parts of KZN.
