Proteas captain Laura Wolvaardt won the toss and elected to bat in the second T20I against Ireland at Boland Park on Sunday.
The home team has made one change with the seamers swapping around as Ayabonga Khaka returns to the line-up for Masabata Klaas.
The Proteas will be looking to close out the series after a comprehensive 105-run victory in the first match at Newlands last Friday.
Wolvaardt was the mainstay of the victory with the skipper blasting 115 not out, which was the Proteas’ Women’s highest individual T20 score.
Sune Luus also delivered a perfect allround performance, scoring 81 and claiming four wickets.
All eyes will be on Dane van Niekerk to see whether the former captain can continue her momentum after a brisk 21 not out off only eight balls in her comeback game at Newlands.
Ireland, meanwhile, have made four changes to their playing XI from the side that went down in Cape Town on Friday.
