North West businessman Brown Mogotsi, made a brief court appearance at the Johannesburg magistrate's court.
He was arrested on Friday evening in connection with allegations that he faked a hit on himself in Vosloorus in November 2025.
He was arrested shortly after testifying at the Madlanga Commission on Friday.
