SARAH Lee Naidoo, 29, accused of fatally stabbing her partner Julian 'Julz' Ramiah, 47, at his Blouberg beachfront apartment, will remain in Pollsmoor Prison until her bail hearing later this month.
The matter was heard in the Cape Town Magistrates’ Court on November 26, where the case was once again postponed.
Naidoo will remain in custody at Pollsmoor Prison.
Ramiah was allegedly murdered in the early hours of the morning on September 1, after an altercation at his apartment.
Julian’s sister, Layyen Zarina Ramiah, expressed frustration at the continued delays, saying the drawn-out process had been emotionally difficult.
“I hope the legal process continues to be thorough and fair. My focus remains on justice for Julian,” she said.
She said a relative had been served with a protection order and cease-and-desist letter over online posts calling for justice for Ramiah.
“This was over the videos posted online calling for justice to prevail,” she said.
“Looking ahead, I hope for a full and fair trial where all facts are properly considered and where justice is served for Julian. My focus remains on ensuring that accurate information about the case is shared and that my brother’s story is told in a truthful and responsible way,” said Ramiah.
The bail hearing is expected to resume on December 22.
