Globally renowned South Korean DJ, producer and fashion icon Peggy Gou recently shared her delightful experiences during her first visit to Cape Town.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, she expressed her admiration for the city, stating, “What a beautiful place, beautiful people, and a warm welcome I received.”
During her vacation, Gou had the opportunity to meet fellow DJ Black Coffee and Victoria Gonzalez, further enriching her experience in this vibrant city.
She shared her excitement with her followers, saying, “Hello from Cape Town 🇿🇦 🐧! Here for the first time, and I’m already in love. Looking forward to dancing with you tomorrow!”
Gou embraced the city's offerings, immersing herself in the local party scene and exploring its stunning hiking trails.
One of the highlights of her trip was a visit to Boulders Beach, where she interacted with the charming penguins and enjoyed breathtaking views of the city.
In her farewell message, she reflected, “Bye Cape Town 🇿🇦! What a beautiful place, beautiful people, and a warm welcome I received. Thanks to everyone who joined me for two days, and to @realblackcoffee for the invite! I definitely want to come back soon for a longer time :) Adopting a penguin mini ‘PG Junior’ was the highlight.”

Gou's visit coincided with the “Experience The Black Coffee Weekender", a premier three-day culture and music festival taking place in Cape Town from February 27 to March 1.
