This Easter, the Bunny has been busy laying trails through game reserves, farm stalls, and coastal gardens.

If you prefer your kids to use their brains before their sugar rush kicks in, this is the one. They’ve swapped the "mad dash" for an Interactive Scavenger Hunt.
Kids start at the Little People’s Paddock, grab a clue sheet, and hunt for stickers across the market stalls. A completed card earns them a curated Easter goodie bag. Plus, the Easter Bunny is on-site for those mandatory meet-and-greet photos.
Walk-ins are not permitted; please buy your tickets ahead of time.

Located in Durban North, this is the spot for kids who need more than just chocolate to stay entertained.
It’s an all-day play affair. We're talking about arts and crafts, daily games, and a jungle gym. Daily egg hunts are supplemented by a visit from the Bunny at 11am, plus jumping castles and face-painting stations.

Want to escape the suburban chaos? Head to Mid-Illovo for a "rugged but tranquil" Easter in the bush. They are offering an intimate, supervised hunt around the lodge gardens. It’s quiet and scenic.
If you aren't staying overnight, you can pay a conservation fee to use the swimming pool and self-drive 4x4 tracks.
Bookings are essential because it's a private reserve and they limit the number of day visitors to keep it peaceful.

Hillcrest’s favourite farm is doing things a little differently by hosting their bash the weekend before the official Easter break.
They are offering a structured, self-paced adventure. Children collect a map and explore the farm to find "Easter Bunny locations" hidden across the property.
Once they’ve checked off all the locations on their map, they return it to collect a full Easter egg hamper.
Once the hunt is done, the kids can hit the mini-golf course or the creative studio while you browse the 70+ local vendors at the curated market.

When: Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29, from 9am. The hunt takes place from 10am.
Cost: R100 per child.
This is the high-stakes hunt of the South Coast. If your kid is competitive, get them here.
There are 1,000 hidden eggs, but the real prizes are the 10 Golden Eggs, which can be traded for grand prizes.
Each ticket includes a colourful collection bag, bunny ears or fun glasses, a slap-wrist band, and a bottle of water.
The hunt is limited to 100 children to ensure everyone gets a fair haul. Parents can walk along for photos, but are strictly forbidden from helping spot eggs.
