Rachel John offers a sneak peek into her life back in Amsterdam

Dutch-Nigerian model and influencer Rachel John returned to Amsterdam this week and gave followers an update on what she is up to in the Netherlands.

John shared her usual update, providing a glimpse into her busy life and shared a series of pictures on Instagram.

She showed her followers that her schedule has been quite busy with photoshoots for her kickboxing career, training sessions and brainstorming 2026 goals for her surf camp with her team and more.

She also shared a TikTok video that featured the behind-the-scenes clips from her photoshoot.

When leaving Mzansi a few days ago, she shared that she was “heartbroken” and also sprinkled in a little bit of honesty, saying that “she didn’t want to go home”.

However, following her departure and arriving in Amsterdam, she said: “Oh, I love being back home in Amsterdam.”

This left fans confused if she was indeed heartbroken to leave SA or heartbroken because she is leaving her alleged bae, Siya Kolisi (side-eye), since she is now saying she actually loves being back home.

No judgement though, because that happens to most of us; one minute you are enjoying your time off with your friends, going on getaways and in just a blink of an eye, it’s back to reality with work commitments and never-ending deadlines.

Considering John’s social media posts, the author was having the best time of her life with Kolisi, and they also went on a getaway.

Prior to leaving, the model shared a heart-warming update on social media about her non-profit organisation, which provides surfing lessons for children in Jeffrey’s Bay.

John revealed that they have upgraded from a small container to a house that will serve as their surfing board storage and changing room for the surfers.

She expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported the organisation and wrote: “Update for our non-profit. Can’t believe how far we’ve come. All I can say is thank you for the support.” 

South African fans are eagerly anticipating her return, but the most pressing question is: when will she and Kolisi finally confirm their relationship?
