Rome - Brazilian football superstar Ronaldo's desire to move from Italy to Spain may have nothing to do with football but rather with his wife's romantic entanglements, according to reports on Tuesday.
The Italian Internet site www.tgcom.itsaid Ronaldo's wife Milene Domingues has for quite some time shown a romantic interest in Clarence Seedorf, who plays for Inter Milan with the Brazilian striker.
The 25-year-old Ronaldo's expressed wish to move to Spanish Champions League winners Real Madrid was therefore linked to personal problems rather than to the game.
This had been confirmed recently by Milene Domingues herself, the Internet site added, when she said that even if her husband left Inter she would stay in Milan. - Sapa-DPA
